E. J. Fields Machine Works, Inc. was established and has been serving the oil and marine industries since 1934. We continue to expand and diversify our services to meet the expanding needs of our customers. The company utilizes some 25,000 sq. ft in our fabrication and welding shops, which are all conveniently located on Front Street in Morgan City , LA. E. J. Fields Machine Works is a complete machine job shop that specializes in fabrication and repair for various industries. We are certified by the American Bureau of Shipping for fabrication and repairs to Grade II, Aquamet 17 and 18 stainless steel propeller shafts. In addition, we are ABS certified for under minimum repair work to ABS grade II propeller shafts. We can perform complete welding and fabrication in our shops and are capable of forming and welding aluminum, steel and stainless steel. We do complete manufacturing of single and multi-bolt manhole assemblies, P tank tops and strongbacks made to the customer's specifications. These are only a few examples of the many services available at your convenience. We also maintain a sizeable inventory of steel flatbar, plate and steel pipe and a moderate inventory of aluminum.
